To go along with my character designs, I often create story boards that could be used in animation, with a focus on composition and timing without any speech
Robot
Project - Regeneration
I wanted to create a stop motion animation of my robot, so I made storyboards focused on using angles I would be able to capture physically, as well as using simple scenes that could reuse props
Knebby
Brief from Knebworth House
The second part of the brief asked for an animation concept for a digital logo using Knebby. This had to be short, work at a small scale and convey Knebby's personality. I focused on playful and cheeky movement.
Emotions
Project - Surroundings
We had to put the character we created into our surroundings, and I chose to put my character into a collage I had created featuring an eye in a wall. I made a short story where my character accidentally defeated the eye, playing around with different shots and angles.
